March 10th Ride - St John's Trailhead
Our next ride will be Sat., Mar 10th - ride out @10:30 am from the St. John's Trailhead near Rodman Dam. Cathy and I scouted it out last weekend at Joanne's recommendation and found it to be a lovely ride along the canal. We didn't explore very much of it so be prepared to bring a lunch and check out the whole area. The trailhead has room for lots of rigs with primitive camping and water, so anyone wanting to stay overnite can do so for free.
Directions from Jax: US 17 South to Palatka, then .take US19 So and continue over the big bridge. Take the first left at the bottom of the bridge(towards Rodehaver Boy's Ranch) and continue till you see the sign for St John's Trailhead. Turn left and the trailhead will be down on the left.

Inaugural Club Ride
We had 16 riders show up for our first "official" club ride ! The day was cool and mostly sunny which made for great riding conditions. Marilyn led us on some great new trails and we stopped for lunch under a grove of beautiful oak trees. We wound up riding for about 5-1/2 hours - some were saddle sore, others ready for more.
