Ginnie Springs
Fifteen people including members and guests had a great time at Ginnie Springs on Saturday. Cathy, Jack and Donald arrived by 8:30 am to secure a spot for us and it's a good thing they did! We discovered that Ginnie Springs is a mecca for young adults to party down and they were packed in like sardines having a large time. We grilled, talked, walked down to the river and enjoyed the brisk water. We did discover that if you're not tubing, you should wear some sort of water shoes because the river bed is rocky. Mike and Darcy drove the furthest to join the fun and also brought their golf cart along. (that sure came in handy for bathroom runs !) The day was pretty hot, but our picnic spot was well shaded. We had 3 people taking pictures - hope you enjoy them..... PHOTOS
